Abstract

The article describes the activities of the 232nd Aviation Unit, which was based in the Kalinin Region in the post-war years. The article provides information on the performance of permanent and periodic tasks by pilots, the indicators of transport and medical flights, as well as the actions of special aviation. The features of the functioning of individual airlines in the region are revealed. The process of implementing the decision of the Kalinin Regional Executive Committee on the improvement of local airline airports is being analyzed. The interaction between regional and district executive authorities and the command of the air squadron is demonstrated. Difficulties and specific features of implementing the solution in various regions have been identified. The issue of a possible relocation of the airport in the regional center was particularly complicated. The article is based on archival materials.
