Abstract

The article presents a review of S. V. Slivko's monograph "On the High Banks of the Amur: A Chronicle of the Musical Life in the Khabarovsk Territory (1941–1945)". This scholarly publication is the result of a comprehensive research that combines the basic scientific methods, principles of historicism, and scientific objectivity with the chronological method. The author has organized historical data from a wide range of sources about the musical life in the Khabarovsk Territory during the Great Patriotic War.
