The Practice of Neq Development of Siberian Cities

The article emphasizes that from the 1950s to the 1980s, architects and engineers in Siberia had to prioritize creating the greatest possible amenities for the population. The influence of climatic factors in the external environment was one of the most important aspects of the development of residential structures in Siberia. These factors were associated not only with the creation of comfortable conditions in housing and on the residential grounds, but also with the individuality and expressiveness of residential structures, ensuring the unity of the building with its surroundings and improving the interaction of the home with the external environment. Healthy living conditions and the distinctive appearance of many Siberian cities were largely due to the preservation of the taiga landscape. The article notes that many shortcomings in the planning and development of Siberian cities were the result of the isolation of design organizations from construction sites; design solutions were often not aligned with the actual conditions of the local construction base.
