The article publishes data on the landscape and topographical features of the location of the sites on the Parchya River. This is a new reference polygon for studying the cultures of the Eneolithic and Late Iron Age, which was studied by the author in 2022–23. Based on geomorphological and archaeological data, significant palaeogeographical events were identified for the development of this area by humans in the past. It was determined that the attractiveness of the studied polygon for its development in ancient and medieval times was due to its complex landscape, which includes a floodplain terrace adjacent to a glacial landform and the valley of a forest river that connects forests, swamps, a system of oxbow lakes, and a large river. Further research will help to clarify the time of archaeological and palaeogeographical events and prove that the studied polygon could have been a compact area of natural resource use by people during the Eneolithic and Iron Age.
