Abstract

The article focuses on the study of the Holocaust in Mariupol, which was one of the tragic chapters in the history of the Jewish people during World War II. It analyzes the testimonies of contemporaries and the recollections of the descendants of Holocaust victims, providing a deeper understanding of the scale and consequences of these events. The article also explores the social, cultural, and psychological aspects of the Jewish community's experiences during the occupation. The research is based on archival materials, interviews, and literary sources, contributing to the restoration of historical memory and the comprehension of the tragedy faced by the Jewish people. The need to preserve the memory of the victims and prevent similar tragedies from happening again in the future is emphasized.
