Учебная и внеучебная повседневность студенток Омского политехнического института в первой половине 1980-х годов

Abstract

This article is devoted to one of the little-studied episodes of women's history - an analysis of the features of the daily life of female students in the first half of the 1980s based on women's oral history materials - materials of unstructured autobiographical interviews collected by the author. Omsk Polytechnic Institute was chosen as an example of a technical university as one of the largest educational institutions of this profile in Siberia, located in one of the districts of the industrially developed city of Omsk. The study showed that, on the one hand, the girls experienced a number of difficulties associated with entering this university and studying here. On the other hand, studying at a university with a clear gender imbalance towards male students provided a number of advantages both in studies and in choosing future life strategies.
