Комплекс каменных энеолитических изделий стоянки Подолье 3 в южном Приладожье

Abstract

The Podolje 3 site is one of the few known in the southern Ladoga region. The cultural layer, composed of siltstone and peat, is buried under the sediments of transgression/regression of Lake Ladoga. The monument was inhabited in the Late Neolithic and Chalcolithic eras - the culture of dimpled comb, rhomboid, porous and asbestos ceramics of the 4th millennium BC. The site is characterized by a small number (about 140) of stone objects. Excavation 2024 in the coastal zone of the peat bog yielded for the first time an expressive complex of items made of shale and sandstone, for which trace analysis was performed. A special place is occupied by individual finds of the Eneolithic Age: a volumetric sculpture (?), an abrasive in the form of an animal's «foot» from sandstone and two imported slate claw chisels and grooved cleavers.
