Abstract

The review provides a brief analysis of a collective monograph published by Petrozavodsk State University. The study analyzes the materials of 84 school textbooks on the topic of World War II using the developed criteria. The authors show how the events of the 1930s and 1940s are interpreted in 17 European countries, the United States, and China, and how they are introduced into the mass consciousness through the educational process.
