The 2nd issue of the journal for 2023 will publish articles by leading Russian historians devoted to the study of women's autobiographical memory (Dr. Sci. A. V. Belova), the history of revolutionary processes in Russia (Dr. Sci. V. P. Buldakov), the history of the Russian Orthodox Church (Dr. Sci. T. G. Leontyeva), the history of settlement in the late Middle Ages (Ph. D. Sci. Yu. V. Stepanova), the history of social protest in Russia (Ph. D. Sci. O. G. Usenko). The issue traditionally publishes articles by postgraduate students devoted to research into the history of slavery and the religious issue in the United States in the first half of the 19th century, the history of physical culture and sports in Russia, and the historiography of the study of the Novgorod land in the late Middle Ages.
The part of the issue devoted to criticism and scientific life publishes reviews by V. P. Buldakov (on the book by M. Gurny "The Great War of Processors. Humanities. 1912-1923. St. Petersburg, 2021") and Yu. A. Zelenskaya on the collective monograph completed by T. G. Leontyeva, D. A. Begovatov and N. A. Dmitriev ("Church Life in Soviet Society in the 1940-1950s: Religious Practices of the Population of the Kalinin Region Based on the Memories of the "Children of War". Tver, 2022").
