The articles are devoted to the history of national politics in the USSR (candidate of historical sciences L.S. Gatagova), students of the Yaroslavl Pedagogical Institute - participants of the Great Patriotic War (doctor of historical sciences A.M. Ermakov), the history of the Main Directorate for Press Affairs of the Russian Empire (candidate of historical sciences E.N. Krylova), the history of spiritual education in the Russian Empire (candidate of historical sciences Yu.A. Safronov), the history of Buddhist communities in Russia in the 1920s. (Ph.D. A.V. Sipeikin), a study of economic activity in the Belsky district of the Moscow State in the 17th century. (Ph.D. Yu.V. Stepanova).

In the article Ph.D. L.A. Bolokina presents a review of documents from the personal collection of Sh.Z. Golubkin, a Soviet civil servant and participant in the partisan movement.

The issue traditionally publishes articles by postgraduate students. They present the results of research into the history of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Finland in the late 19th - first half of the 20th century (A.V. Kovalev), the history of theological education in the Tver diocese in the second half of the 18th century (A.V. Kroshkin). An article by a postgraduate student from China shows the evolution of attitudes toward women in Chinese families from 1900 to 1950.
