The article is devoted to the actual problem for our country – the study of the concepts of information security, in particular in the activities of the Federal migration service. Discussed in detail the concept and essence of information support of activity of the FMS of Russia, author's definition of concept "information security" and "information support of passport and visa activities of the Federal migration service". The study was conducted through content analysis of legal documents.Published
