Abstract

The aim of the work is to analyze the newly introduced provision of the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation, which establishes criminal liability for the destruction or damage of objects that perpetuate the memory of those who died in defense of the Fatherland or its interests. The reasons for the appearance of Art. 243.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and problems of an international legal nature related to the commission of these socially dangerous actions outside the Russian Federation
