Subjects of civil procedure relations: some classification issues

The article is devoted to the study of the issue of classification criteria for subjects of civil proceedings, taking into account the current legal regulation of participants in civil proceedings in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the features of the procedural position of the subjects of civil proceedings. In order to form a unified, holistic and normatively regulated system of subjects of civil procedural relations, proposals have been formulated to improve the current legislation. It is proposed to expand the list of participants in civil proceedings, supplementing it with such subjects as the secretary of the court session, the person who conducts the case in the interests of a group of persons, the claimant and the debtor, as well as the judicial conciliator and mediator.
