Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of legal regulation of medical tourism in the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to reveal the basics of strategic planning and legislative regulation of medical tourism. The consolidation of the concept of "medical tourism" is seen as an important direction for improving legal regulation. There is a need for a significant reorientation of tourism activities in the aspect of providing medical services. The research methods are formal logic, comparative analysis of legal categories, synthesis (generalization), complexity and a systematic approach. The proposed legislative changes will contribute to improving the provision of medical services and appropriate assistance to patients seeking treatment outside their place of permanent residence.
