Abstract

The features of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the child as the main family value are considered. Today, when the priority of family education is constitutionally fixed, it should be assumed that it is the state that must determine the traditional spiritual and moral values that must be guided in the family when raising children. Since any dispute between spouses always affects the interests of children, the position is justified that the interests of the child should not be left aside and have only a formal meaning. On the contrary, it is necessary to proceed, first of all, from the interests of the child. The article analyzes the practice of taking into account the interests of a child when considering cases of deprivation of parental rights, in case of refusal to provide medical care to a child, when monitoring the implementation of a minor's right to information.
