Abstract

The purpose of the work is to identify relevant scientific topics for the study of the category of "values" as an object and subject of scientific research in the field of law. The ambiguous nature of the concept of "values" is determined, which determines the validity of using a systematic approach to choosing a research methodology, as well as the orientation of scientists to analyze the features of the legal regime of values in a particular field of activity. The need to define the legal content of the concept of "scientific values" is justified.
