Abstract

The article examines the right to housing, its consolidation in the texts of the constitutions of our state, the possibility of changing the constitutional text in the context of the current attitude to the essence of the right to housing. The object of the study is the consolidation of the right to housing by constitutional norms in their relationship with the meaning given to it by international law. The subject of the study is the norms of international law, constitutional norms of the Russian Federation and Soviet (Russian) constitutions regulating the right to housing. The purpose of the study is to consider the stages of the evolution of the essence of the right to housing, both in acts of international law and in the norms of Russian constitutions. As a conclusion, it is proposed to reflect when changing the constitutional text of the norms regulating the right to housing, including a modern understanding of the essence of this right.
