Several aspects of the legal status of the mother in the legislation of the Republic of Belarus

In family law, there is little attention paid to a study of the legal status of the subjects of family legal relations. The article explores some aspects of statutorization of the legal status of the mother. The objective of the study is to analyze the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus that establishes legal guarantees for the implementation of the legal status of the mother. The research methodology includes scientific methods of analysis and research synthesis, as well as the formal legal method. The article presents the author's view on the definition of the concept of the legal status of the mother. The author makes conclusions about the determination of the time when the mother’s legal status occurs, as well as about the existence of a single basis for its termination.
