The article analyzes the measures of state support provided at the federal and regional levels to families with children. The lack of consistency in the formation and regulatory consolidation of the measures under study has been revealed, which, in the author's opinion, violates the principle of legal certainty, which is the fundamental principle of any law-making. In order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, it is proposed to develop and adopt a federal law and laws of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation containing an exhaustive list of federal (regional) measures of state support for families with children, the principles of their provision, sources of funding, the amount of specific measures and (or) the procedure for determining it, as well as the conceptual framework related to the provision of such measures. measures; At the same time, each of the laws must be accompanied by a separate and single regulatory legal act that establishes, in relation to the Russian Federation, the subject of the Russian Federation, the procedure for appointing and providing state support measures for motherhood and childhood.
