Abstract

The article examines the issues of theory and practice of compensation for harm caused to human health by adverse environmental impacts, taking into account the main directions of state policy in the field of environmental protection. The purpose of the study is to identify the features and problems of judicial protection of the right of citizens to compensation for harm caused to their health by an environmental offense, including the right to compensation for moral damage. The conclusions include the reasons that determine the complexity of judicial protection of this right and some ways to solve them.
