Abstract

Resocialization is the process of restoring an individual as a socialized member of society, carried out on the basis of the application of a set of legal, organizational, psychological, pedagogical, educational and other measures of influence in order to prevent the repetition of illegal acts. The article examines a number of problematic issues of resocialization of persons sentenced to imprisonment, problems of socialization of convicts after serving their sentence, as well as measures to improve the process of social adaptation of persons released or preparing to be released from prison.
