Abstract

The article is devoted to the legal regulation and implementation of the powers of local governments in the field of cultural relations. The current legislation regarding the powers of local governments in the field of culture is analyzed, including in the context of existing legislative changes. The existing experience of several municipalities on the issue of the powers entrusted to them is investigated. The priority tasks of the municipal cultural management bodies are considered.
