Abstract

In order to gain a deeper understanding of the legal status of a judge's assistant in Russia, as well as the prospects for its development, the experience of organizing and functioning similar institutions in foreign countries (Germany, Poland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Sweden) was analyzed.
