Abstract

The article analyzes legal issues related to the use of the Russian language in the sphere of family relations, taking into account the balance between freedom of self-determination and the interests of the state in preserving national sovereignty. It examines the conflicts between the constitutional right to choose a language of communication, the educational preferences of families, and public interests in strengthening the status of the Russian language. Special attention is paid to conflicts arising in multilingual families, in the educational process, and in the context of protecting the linguistic rights of national minorities.
