Abstract

This article discusses fictitious marriages in the field of migration, discusses such concepts as "fictitious marriage", registration of marriage in the absence of actual intention to start a family. The legal grounds for the emergence of marriage rights among foreign citizens and stateless persons are analyzed. A fictitious marriage is considered as a qualifying sign of an illegal act that violates public law restrictions and prohibitions, such as, for example, the admission to citizenship of a foreign citizen or a stateless person, the emergence of the right to state support, benefits, etc.
