Abstract

This paper examines certain issues of inheritance under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The author emphasizes that inheritance law is a sub-branch of civil law. In addition, attention is drawn to the fact that inheritance of a deceased person’s property is possible both by will and by operation of law. Particular attention is paid to inheritance by law. The article also focuses on the subjects of each order (priority) of inheritance by law.
