Legal regulation of relationships in divorce in the Russian Federation and the republic of abkhazia: some aspects of a comparative analysis

Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of certain provisions of family law in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia governing divorce proceedings in court. Furthermore, it highlights the specifics of the clarifications of the Plenums of the Supreme Courts of these countries regarding the application of substantive and procedural law in divorce proceedings. Conclusions are formulated and substantiated regarding the potential for borrowing legal regulation and law enforcement practices to protect private and public interests in divorce proceedings.
