Abstract

The relevance of this study is determined by a number of factors extending beyond science. The scientific potential and effectiveness of Arctic scientific research are crucial not only for strengthening security and developing the economy and social sphere of the Russian Federation (as well as other Arctic states), but also for establishing an advantage in the geoeconomic and geopolitical competition of various countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the legal, organizational, and management aspects of developing Arctic scientific research infrastructure in the Russian Federation. The chronological framework of this work covers the historical period since 1991. The study is conducted within the framework of historical and legal science. The study was conducted within the framework of a civilizational approach.
