Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of the regulation of relations in the section of digital currency and cryptocurrencies acquired by spouses during marriage. The article examines the difficulties of proving the ownership of one of the spouses in cryptocurrency and the ways to establish the ownership of crypto wallets. The main evidentiary tools used by the courts in establishing a connection between a spouse and a cryptocurrency account are considered. The article substantiates the need for further improvement of legal regulation to ensure a fair division of digital assets between spouses.
