Mechanisms for preserving traditional values: the role of the public chamber of the Tver region in public dialogue

The object of the study is the activities of the Public Chamber of the Tver Region as an institution of civil society in the implementation of state policy in the field of preservation and strengthening of traditional spiritual and moral values. The purpose is to identify the mechanisms and areas of work of the Public Chamber of the Tver Region in the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 809 dated September 9, 2022, "On the Approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values" (hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 809), as well as regional initiatives for the protection of the family, patriotic education, and cultural and historical continuity, and to assess the effectiveness of this work. The specific tasks are: to analyze the regulatory framework and contractual relations (including the agreement with the Tver Diocese) that define the competence of the chamber in matters of traditional values; to study the areas of work of the family support commissions (the law on family entrepreneurship, NGO projects, The object of the study is the activities of the Public Chamber of the Tver Region as an institution of civil society in the implementation of state policy in the field of preservation and strengthening of traditional spiritual and moral values. The specific tasks are: to analyze the regulatory framework and contractual relations (including the agreement with the Tver Diocese) that define the competence of the chamber in matters of traditional values; to study the areas of work of the family support commissions (the law on family entrepreneurship, NGO projects, forums "Big family – Tver tradition"; to evaluate the Chamber's contribution to the patriotic education of young people; to identify problematic issues and offer recommendations to improve the Chamber's performance in this area.
