Abstract

This article examines the protection of lawyers' professional rights in the Russian Federation. The topic is relevant given the growing number of violations in the exercise of lawyers' professional rights. The research focuses on the concept and system of lawyers' professional rights, the evolution of corporate mechanisms for their protection, systemic violations by law enforcement agencies, and the criminal procedural and constitutional-judicial guarantees of lawyers' legal status. It concludes that the existing protection mechanism is merely declaratory, necessitating legislative improvement, expanded powers for corporate commissions, the creation of solidarity funds, professional risk insurance, the introduction of a state program to protect lawyers, and the digitalization of their interactions.
