Abstract

The article expresses the author's position expressed in the framework of public discussions of the report of the Bank of Russia "Cryptocurrencies: trends, risks, measures". The author analyzes the compliance of the provisions of the report with the strategic planning documents of the Russian Federation; the author expresses disagreement with the strategy proposed by the regulator to ban transactions with cryptocurrencies in the territory of the Russian Federation. The author formulates specific areas of legal regulation in the field of issuance, circulation, as well as taxation of cryptocurrencies.
