Abstract

The article analyzes the forms and measures of combating corruption in the post-war period in the penitentiary system of the USSR. The author's conclusions and suggestions are based on the study of historical documents of the USSR penitentiary system of 1940-1950. and foreign practice of combating corruption in Singapore, Germany, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan. As a result of the study, the main directions and principles were determined when planning measures to prevent corruption in the penal system of the Russian Federation.
