Abstract

The article deals with the legal aspects of the accessibility of transport infrastructure and railway transport services for consumers with disabilities. The author concludes that in some cases the infrastructure and services of railway transport are not adapted for passengers with disabilities and need to be brought into line with the requirements of law, reasonableness and fairness. Particular attention is drawn to the fact that people with limited mobility belong to the privileged category of citizens and, due to the limitation of their life, cannot use the transport infrastructure and railway services on an equal basis with ordinary passengers.
