Abstract

The author conducts a comparative legal description of the mechanism of contractual regulation of relations related to the exercise of parental rights and the performance of parental duties when a child lives separately from one of the parents. An analysis of the relevant provisions of the family legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus allowed the author to identify both common and distinctive features, demonstrating at the same time the presence of competition between agreements.
