Abstract

The degree of development of certain types of economic activity of people living in a certain territory in a particular historical period can be judged by the level of regulation of its legal basis. The sources of such knowledge are undoubtedly found written legal acts chronologically related to the period under study. Sources of law of national importance have always attracted the greatest attention of researchers. The article proposes to trace some changes in the attitude to the obligations arising from loan agreements (loans, trade loans) in the historical period, limited by the chronological framework of the 12th century and the middle of the 17th century.
