Abstract

This article discusses some aspects of ensuring the right to protection for persons in respect of whom criminal procedural activities are carried out to expose the commission of a crime, the participation of "other persons" as defenders in criminal proceedings, formulated proposals for improving criminal procedure legislation aimed at expanding the scope of possible participation of a defender in criminal proceedings, the procedure for considering applications for admission as a defender of "other persons" who do not have the status of a lawyer.
