Abstract

Сommunication of persons sentenced to imprisonment with their relatives is a fundamental factor influencing their successful rehabilitation and social adaptation. As a result of the analysis of statistical data, the fact of a discrepancy between the region of residence of close convicts and the region of serving sentences was revealed, which adversely affects the maintenance of socially useful ties. The article discusses the ways of interaction of convicts with loved ones (using the electronic services of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia) in the absence of the possibility of maintaining personal contact.
