Abstract

The author examines the provisions of family law in terms of regulating relations between grandparents and grandchildren. The content of the right to communication and the right to upbringing a child, the correlation of the right to participate in the upbringing of a grandson with the priority right of parents is established. Attention is focused on the need to formalize relations associated with the stay of a child with a grandmother, grandfather, including the transfer of some powers of parents.
