The author offers a new look at the family-legal institution of restriction in parental rights, justifying a different purpose of applying the appropriate measure to parents (one of them). Appealing to the grounds and legal consequences of the restriction in parental rights, the author demonstrates a different purpose of the restriction - the protection of the rights and interests of not only the child, but also his parents (one of them).
