Abstract

In the article, in continuation of the discussion initiated by the authors of the Information letter "On the illegality of determining the reliability of testimony by forensic examination" and updated by V.V. Nikolyuk in the article "Letter of the Twelve", it is noted that currently the use of special knowledge in the aspect related to the assessment of information reported by persons involved in criminal cases, both in the form of testimony and in other procedural and non-procedural forms, has undergone some changes that are worth paying attention to.
