The principle of freedom of contract in the first half of the XX century

The article considers the state of contractual freedom in the period of departure from the Laissez-faire principle. The evolution and key changes of the principle of freedom of contract from the moment of the beginning of the 20th century are displayed. The author connects evolution in positive law with the transformation of the economic and socioethical thought of society. The limits of the principle of freedom of contract in the period under consideration are investigated. The article is devoted to the analysis of the basic ideas of contractual freedom that existed in the European states in the first half of the 20th century.Downloads
