Abstract

The historical and modern trends of constructing fatherhood in the space of family law are examined: from patriarchal authority of the father, equalization of the status of mother and father and child, exclusion of il-legitimate fatherhood, restrictions on the establishment of illegitimate pa-ternity - to obvious and non-obvious reasons for paternity (presumption of paternity in marriage, with the use of assisted reproductive technolo-gies, administrative and judicial establishment of paternity, etc.).
