The article analyzes the possible problems associated with the develop-ment of nanotechnology, identifies some areas of application of these technologies, including in the historical context, assesses the estimated negative consequences of their practical use. The author substantiates the need to develop institutions for monitoring the likely adverse conse-quences of the development of nanotechnology, systematic improvement of legislation in this area.Downloads
