Abstract

On the basis of analysis of the Federal Weapons Law now in force, prob-lematic aspects of the regulation of acquiring weapons by Russian citi-zens are indicated. At the same time, the propositions are made that are aimed at correcting the identified flaws, and some conceptual recom-mendations, that take into account the specifics of the current legal posi-tion of weapons, are formulated.
