Legal status of the russian family: some theoretical and practical aspects

The article examines the legal status of the Russian family as an independent subject of family rights. It is concluded that the family is an independent subject of rights, has legal capacity, other rights and obligations established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, international standards to which the Russian Federation has acceded and international treaties of the Russian Federation, and it is these provisions that must be supplemented by the Family Code of the Russian Federation. The family is understood as a social and legal formation created and operating with the aim of continuing the family and life in general, educating and maintaining, the well-being of its members, the joint exercise of the rights and duties of the family, as well as the rights and obligations of its members, in the implementation of which other participation is possible persons connected by family membership without causing any harm to each other.Downloads
