Abstract

The article explores the problem of legal uncertainty in Russian legislation and its consequences. After analyzing the legislation, judicial practice, doctrine, the author came to the conclusion that the uncertainty of the provisions of the law entails the uncertainty of the judicial position in the application of such provisions, and, therefore, creates obstacles to the implementation, safety and protection of the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation. Measures to eliminate identified problems are proposed.
