Abstract

The article analyzes the activities of customs authorities, aimed at identifying and suppressing crimes under st. 226.1 and st. 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, based on statistical data, the indicators of law enforcement activity of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation for 2016 - 2018 are studied, conclusions are drawn about the current specifics of the smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic and potent substances, the features of the subject composition of the above crimes, statistical data and examples from law enforcement practice.
