Abstract

The article discusses the issue of the abolition of serfdom in Russia during the reforms of Alexander II. Examines the causes and consequences of the reforms of Alexander II. The analysis of the deterioration of a criminogenic situation in the country as a result of the tardiness of the reform of the interior Ministry and other law enforcement agencies in the second half of the XIX century.
