Abstract

The article is devoted to research of the current procedure for recourse against decisions on judges’ disciplinary liability adopted by the Supreme Qualification Collegium of Judges of the Russian Federation and the qualification boards of judges of the subjects of the Russian Federation. The legislation and judicial practice are analyzed in terms of determining the jurisdiction and deadline for recourse to the court. Insufficiency and contradiction of the legal adjusting are revealed. Duplication of competence of courts at different levels is marked. The author justifies proposals for improving the legislation in this area.
